Q. Is DemandTools compatible with a MAC?
A. DemandTools was designed to work on a Windows based operating system. The only way DemandTools can be used by a MAC is if the MAC is running Parallels or BootCamp. These applications allow a portion of the MAC to run a Windows operating system.

Q. Is DemandTools Compatible with Office 2007?
A. Yes. DemandTools applications are able to read data from Excel, Access and CSV 2007 files.

Q. Can the Single Table DeDupe find and merge duplicates in a spreadsheet?
A. No. The Single Table DeDupe is capable of finding and merging duplicates that exist in a salesforce.com database.

Q. Can the Single Table Dedupe be scheduled to run?
A.Yes. The SingleTable Dedupe is a scheduleable module, but we strongly recommend that only RIGID Scenarios are scheduled as merging of data cannot be undone.

Q. How do I set up a scheduled process?
A. Scheduled process are executed via the Microsoft Windows Scheduler. To learn more about setting up a scheduled scenario please click here.

Q. Is DemandTools compatible with Person Accounts?
A. Yes. DemandTools is compatible with Person Accounts. If you are running both Person Accounts and Accounts and Contacts in your salesforce.com instance you will need to specify the Person Account Record Type to work specifically with records of that type.


Q. Can I access and pull data from the Salesforce Reports table?
A. No, the Reports table is not accessible via the API.
